Sheila Perkins has been named a Professional of the Year in Human Resources
AURORA, IL, August 26, 2011 /Human Resources PR News/ -- Sheila Perkins, Human Resources Secretary for Indian Prairie School District 204, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in human resources. A Professional of the Year for 2010-2011 and 2011-2012, she has also received the Elite American distinction and been selected for inclusion in Cambridge Publishing's Calendar Series, Pro-Files Magazine and "Top 101 Industry Experts" book.
Ms. Perkins has nurtured a career in the area of human resources that has spanned more than 13 years. Her current responsibilities include conducting employee verifications and posting jobs in efforts to recruit talented job-seekers for openings in the school district. She has long maintained an interest in the field of education, and particularly enjoys being in a position in which she can help others. Her role also requires that she immerse herself in administrative computer work, and she enjoys learning and developing her ever-growing skills.
Ms. Perkins, who earned an associate degree in office management from the College of DuPage, intends to continue learning, growing, and refining her expertise in communications and human resources. She looks forward to experiencing continued professional growth in the years to come.
