NASHUA, NH, November 28, 2011 /Human Resources PR News/ -- Sheila J. Kabat, Vice President of Snowden Associates, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in human resources.
Sheila Kabat is a gifted and accomplished Human Resource professional and Organizational Development practitioner with extensive and diverse experience in senior leadership roles. Sheila has worked extensively in the Northeast (Wang Laboratories, Lowell, MA, domestic and international; Hadco. Salem, NH; and led Lee Hecht Harrison, Inc. start-up in Westboro, MA). Most recently Sheila invested her talent (2001-2010) as an Organizational Development professional and Partner with Bruce Mast & Associates, Inc. in Portsmouth, NH.
Her education informs her professional contributions, Sheila earned an MS in Business from Lesley University, MA, a BA in Liberal Arts from Siena Heights University, MI, an Advanced Certificate in Organizational Development & Human Resource Management from a joint effort of Columbia University, NY and the University of Michigan, MI, and recently participated in leadership pilots at Hesser College and Daniel Webster College in New Hampshire.
Active in her community and professional associations, Sheila is a 2001 graduate of Leadership New Hampshire and has served on the Program Committee since 2003. She collaborated with Business New Hampshire magazine to recognize BEST COMPANIES to WORK FOR in NH from 2000 to 2010.
Sheila is committed to the growth and development of both companies and individuals. She has served as adjunct faculty and thesis advisor for New England College's MS in Organizational Leadership program for six years, is currently a Business curriculum professor at Hesser College, and facilitated the Women's Business Center - Develop Your Business Plan process for emerging business owners for 15 years.
