Greg G. Peddle Named a VIP Member of Cambridge Who's Who
Greg Peddle lends his expertise in Asset Management to NEWDOCK, St. John's Dockyard Ltd.
ST. JOHN'S, NL, CANADA, October 05, 2011 /Human Resources PR News/ -- Greg G. Peddle, Maintenance/Facilities Manager for NEWDOCK, St. John's Dockyard Ltd, was recently selected as a VIP member by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in asset management.
With 30 years of professional experience, Mr. Peddle is recognized for his expertise in maintenance/facilities management including production support, and expert knowledge of marine elevators and lifting appliances; as well as his strong mechanical and analytical aptitude and leadership abilities. This year, he celebrated his first decade with NEWDOCK, St. John's Dockyard Ltd., a shipyard specializing in ship repair, offshore services and industrial fabrication. As Maintenance/Facilities Manager, he is responsible for supervision of employees of various disciplines within a unionized environment; management of maintenance/repairs/inspections of all assets; departmental budgeting; management of capital projects within the facility; training of employees and mentoring engineering students through co-op work-term programs. Mr. Peddle is gratified to be doing work that allows him to utilize his extensive electrical and mechanical background. He attributes his success to his passion for technology and commitment to continuing his education.
Mr. Peddle is currently pursuing (MMP) Maintenance Management Professional certification from PEMAC. He is already a Construction and Industrial Electrician (Journeyman status in both), certified millwright mechanic, Rolls-Royce Certified in Ship Lift Systems, and a certified dockmaster. In addition, he is certified in mechanical instrumentation and management development in OH&S. Aware of the ever-evolving nature of his field, Mr. Peddle looks forward to increasing his knowledge of new technologies in the coming years.
