Brilliant Human Resources Professional Finds Placement In The Prestigious Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who
Robert Mayrand has received the recognition of Stanford Who's Who due to his magnificent work in the Human Resources Industry.
GATINEAU, QC, CANADA, March 21, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Robert Mayrand has received the recognition of Stanford Who's Who due to his magnificent work in the Human Resources Industry. As General Director of SITO he has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be among the best.
SITO is a job placement service for immigrants. They assist immigrants from Columbia, Africa, Brazil and a number of other countries around the world in attaining job placement within the Montreal and Ottawa region.
In his position as General Director, Robert works closely with Service Canada, the Ministry of Education and Immigration. He coordinates training programs and places 35 immigrants annually. Mr. Mayrand is responsible for human resources, finance management, computer management and writing proposals. He works with 15 committees including Labor Force and is regularly involved with elected officials.
Robert earned a Bachelor's Degree and two Master's Degrees as well as being on the way to completing his PhD at the University of Ottawa. He taught at Ontario Community College for 18 years. Mr. Mayrand now teaches six courses at the University of Ottawa on the Master's Degree level. He is a member of TCRI and RSSMO. Robert is currently learning to speak Portuguese in order to speak at a conference in Brazil on adult continuing education through UNESCO.
