Integrated Solutions Management's Brian Boeth Selected as a Reviewer for the Upcoming ITIL v3 Update
ITIL Version 3 is to be updated to provide improvements in presentation
TAMPA, FL, February 17, 2010 /Human Resources PR News/ -- Integrated Solutions Management, Inc. (ISM) is proud to announce that Brian Boeth, Senior Management Consultant, has been selected by The Office of Government Commerce (OGC) and The Stationery Office (TSO), the official publisher for the OGC, to participate in the First Public Review for the upcoming ITIL v3 update, targeted for release in early 2011. He has been assigned the Service Transition publication.
The purpose of the update is to address issues within the current Version 3 books that have been raised by the user and training communities through the change control log on www.best-management-practice.com. Changes in the update will also be informed by advice from the ITIL Change Advisory Board (CAB) and through other feedback from the user and training communities. "ITIL is the most widely accepted approach to IT service management in the world, providing a cohesive set of best practices, drawn from the public and private sectors internationally. I am excited to be able to support this global initiative to update and improve ITIL version 3."
Brian Boeth has over 15 years of professional IT experience specializing primarily in the development, implementation, and optimization of IT processes. His background includes experience in medical, manufacturing, and government sectors. Brian has a strong technical background based in software development and the management of software design, development, and deployment projects. His experience managing large international projects along with his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification provide him an excellent project management background and skill set. Brian has done extensive work in the area of Software Development Lifecycles and ITIL/Service Management, in which he holds ITIL Foundation, ITIL Practitioner, and COBIT Foundation certifications.
Brian is the current President of the Tampa IT Service Management Forum (itSMF) Local Interest Group.
