LiveCoach Announces International Expansion in Four Major Markets
Company sees market opportunities to expand sales and delivery operations in several key markets in Q1 of 2010.
VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA, December 03, 2009 /Human Resources PR News/ -- LiveCoach Professional Development, LLC announced today that the company plans to open 4 new international coaching centers in the first quarter of 2010. The company also announced that the headquarters for US operations will relocate from San Diego, California to Chicago, IL effective January 2010.
The new LiveCoach centers, which typically serve as both a regional business development and service delivery hub, will be located in Stockholm, Dublin, Bangalore and Hong Kong. Each center is expected to employ a combination of local talent and staff reassigned from the company's Canadian headquarters and US offices.
"We are thrilled at the opportunities that each of these markets offers in terms of near-term and long-term potential", said Keith Knutter, LiveCoach's Chief Operating Officer. "Though it remains difficult to predict exactly what the global economic conditions will be over the next 18-24 months, our expansion in these areas comes as a direct result of discussions with our clients and our own internal research related to ongoing human capital development initiatives".
"Over the past 2 quarters, LiveCoach has expanded the number of key marketing partners which now helps us to be able to gain entry into these markets, commented Eric Nicole, LiveCoach's Vice President of Marketing. "We are being cautious in the approach required for these investments, and others that we are considering. Overall, we are very much looking forward to capitalizing on current opportunities to deliver LiveCoach's unique set of products and services to a greater number of commercial, non-profit and public-sector organizations."
Concurrent with the opening of the four new centers, LiveCoach will relocate its US operations base from San Diego to its offices at 10 South Riverside Plaza in downtown Chicago.
"The move to Chicago helps position LiveCoach more centrally within North America as we continue to plan for expansion into additional key US markets in the Midwest and East regions", said Knutter. "However, our 2010 business plan will build on our success in 2009 and focus heavily on revenue growth in each of the markets where we currently have presence in the Western US."
