Cindy S. Fonseca Honored for Accomplishments in Human Resources
Cindy S. Fonseca celebrates 10 years in the human resources field
BROADLANDS, VA, September 10, 2009 /Human Resources PR News/ -- Ms. Fonseca, Director of Compensation at Northrop Grumman Corporation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in human resources.
With a combined 20 years experience in finance and human resources, Ms. Fonseca has found her niche in compensation. As the Director of Compensation at Northrop Grumman Corporation, she is responsible for managing all compensation initiatives including executive programs, base pay, short and long-term incentive plans as well as reward and recognition programs. She is also responsible for ensuring that the compensation programs are market competitive as well as compliant with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). Previously, while working in finance, she cultivated excellent analytical skills which have served her well in compensation. She attributes her success to hard work, optimism and perseverance.
Ms. Fonseca received her MBA with a concentration in human resources from California State University, Long Beach in 2001. She is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) through the Worldatwork Society of Certified Professionals and is also a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). In 2004 she was recognized for her accomplishments through the Women of Achievement Award by Northrop Grumman Corporation. She plans to continue broadening her experience within human resources.
