Tracy L. Mitchell Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
Tracy L. Mitchell has been working with VHA Inc. since 1997 and has been a director since 2003
IRVING, TX, August 20, 2009 /Human Resources PR News/ -- Tracy L. Mitchell, Compensation and Benefits Director for VHA Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in her career.
In 1987, Ms. Mitchell began her career with GTE Supply, where she had exposure to both the recruiting and compensation/benefit side of human resources. She was manager of compensation for the Children's Medical Center of Dallas from 1997-1995, before joining VHA Inc.
As a director at VHA Inc., Ms. Mitchell is responsible for the administration of the compensation and benefit plans for 1,400 employees. She looks to the marketplace to ensure the company's compensation of employees and benefit programs are competitive. To keep benefit cost down, a wellness program was established two years ago, helping employees balance work and lifestyle. She attributes her success to the mentors who helped her along the way.
Ms. Mitchell received her Bachelor of Business Management in 1992 from Amberton University. In 2005, she received her certification in workers' compensation, and is currently pursuing her certification in compensation. She is a member of WorldatWork and the Society for Human Resource Management.
