JANESVILLE, WI, July 15, 2009 /Human Resources PR News/ -- Shelley R. Bengtson, Training Specialist for Blackhawk Community Credit Union, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of personnel development.
With 13 years of experience at Blackhawk Community Credit Union, Mrs. Bengtson is recognized as an expert in human resource management and leadership development. She currently holds the position of Training Specialist. Her responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and facilitating training to all levels of staff at the credit union. She specializes in Member Service and Core computer systems. The positions she trains are: Tellers, Member Advisors for Mortgages, Consumer Lending, and Call Center, also new Leadership positions within the organization. Mrs. Bengtson became involved in her profession because she knew that helping people through education and training would benefit the entire organization. She is proud of her association with Blackhawk Community Credit Union and devoted to helping people in the communities it supports. She attributes her success to her diligence and the cooperation she receives from her talented team.
Mrs. Bengtson currently serves as the treasurer of her local Parent Teacher Association. Sheis a member of the Forward Janesville Young Professionals Group and a former member of the Young Professionals Council for the Wisconsin Credit Union League. In her spare time, she volunteers in the local schools on behalf of Junior Achievement Inc, helps deliver meals for the Meals on Wheels program and dedicates time to Rotary Botanical Gardens. Mrs. Bengtson finds deep personal fulfillment in her 'pay it forward' mantra and belief in her two favorite quotes, which read 'companies don't succeed, people do' and 'people may not remember what you said or what you did, but they will always remember how you made them feel.'
