Delaware Slip and Fall Claimant Awarded Workers' Compensation for All Medical Expenses
After over a year of fighting for workers' compensation, an employee working in Delaware has recovered costs for her medical expenses through an Industrial Accident Board decision.

On April 8th, 2009 a Workers' Compensation Hearing Officer of the Industrial Accident Board in New Castle County, Delaware awarded payment of all medical expenses as well as total disability benefits by the employer to the injured employee.
On February 4th, 2008 Attorney Freibott's client caught her foot on a trash bag at work causing her to slip and fall and resulting in an injured left shoulder and arm. She underwent physical rehabilitation and surgery before returning to work several months later. Total medical expenses related to the work accident amounted to $34,706.85.
